Carnival Day Fireworks Display 10pm Sat 14th July Penarth Esplanade and Pier
Carnival Day Fireworks Display 10pm Sat 14th July 2012 from Penarth Pier and best viewed from the Esplanade
It is always a spectacular firework display to end Penarth's Carnival Day as part of Penarth's Festival Week. The firework display starts at 10pm. The fireworks are set off at the end of Penarth Pier with the best possible views from the Esplanade.
Penarth Pier provides an ideal location and back drop to ensure that there is a great view for everyone along the Esplanade. As always Penarth Town Council are committed to making the firework display a successful evening especially after all the festivities of the Carnival Day in Penarth. There is always a real buzz during the display.
The Photograph opposite was taken by Steve Castle at last year's Carnival Fireworks Display. Steve has converted one camera to shoot entirely in infrared, which creates interesting effects. This is the technique he used to capture the fireworks over Penarth Pier at last year's Carnival Firework Display. It is a truly stunning photograph and credit must also go to Penarth Town Council for organising such a tremendous firework display year after year. Penarth Carnival Fireworks Display is a FREE event and starts at 10pm so make sure to be on the Esplanade early to soak up the atmosphere.
